Idyllically perched on the popular hills of Fiesole, Villa San Michele, a Belmond hotel, contemplates the city below, offering a truly spectacular view. Following the success of the summer event series at luxury hotel housed in a former monastery, their fall calendar promises to be just as charming and alluring with a multitude of culinary and cultural activities. From the lush typical Tuscan forest that embraces the villa to the striking 15th century loggia home to the restaurant, every corner is picturesque and made all the more memorable with the events on offer.

Truffles and their many mysteries are at the center of this rich and natural experience that allows you to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of Tuscan truffle hunters. Savini Tartufi comes from a family that has dedicated its life to truffles for four generations. The first day allows you to meet the producers during a aperitif to familiarize yourself with the prized tuber and its curious characteristics, before enjoying a perfectly curated truffle-themed dinner created by Executive Chef Alessandro Cozzolino, complemented by a wine pairing of Prunotto from the historic Piedmont winery in the prestigious Langhe wine region. On the second day, you leave for Savini Tartufi in Forcoli to participate in an authentic truffle hunt. A delicious lunch follows with mouth-watering Savini products and the freshest truffles of the season.

Price: 530 euros per person (aperitif, 4-course dinner with food and wine pairing, truffle hunt and lunch at Savini Tartufi). Activities can also be booked as individual experiences.

The Supreme Poet, Dante Alighieri, is honored at Belmond Villa San Michele at 5 p.m. on Tuesday with an indulgent afternoon tea while you are treated to the love stories of the Divine comedy and Vita Nova, read in Italian by actor Adriano Miliani.
