“This summer when I’m not in the Caribbean Palm heights, I plan to travel to Italy (hopefully, if the borders are open). I really want a summer vacation by the Italian sea and also all the fresh pasta! I am looking to go to the Amalfi Coast and plan to stay at The Sirenuse (I have never been there, and it has always been a dream of mine) and then have casual lunches at my favorite place, Da Adolfo. For me the Amalfi Coast is an incredibly magical place, and I think after such an intense year of lockdowns and anxiety, I want to travel somewhere that for me is a pure celebration of life, of food. , culture, wine and people. . I can’t wait to enjoy amazing meals and make memories with my loved ones under the sun. “

âI can’t wait to go to the small Italian island of Ischia. An hour by ferry from Naples, photograph by Anna Pihan for our next book The pleasure of leisure made me fall in love with this island filled with bougainvillea and striped umbrellas. Before moving to Bali, traveling through Europe was a given, but now I can’t wait to explore a dreamy European getaway like Ischia, take a dip in one of the thermal pools and sip espressos. “

âMy husband and I have always been avid travelers, and after a very long pandemic and a second pregnancy, we are delighted with our summer trip to one of our favorite places – Bali. This will be our first visit to Indonesia. since the new additions to our family [two children], and we will stay at Como Shambhala in Ubud, which to me feels like a personal oasis nestled in an unspoiled jungle. My husband loves surfing so we will be spending most of our time in Uluwatu between Padang Padang and Blue Point Beach. I am a huge yoga lover, so I will sneak in for so many classes at Desa Seni that I can. Above all, we can hardly wait for food – although it is extremely healthy food, for the most part, Mana at Uluwatu Surf Villas is one of our favorites, and we crave this smoky roadside barbecue Naughty Nuri’s and end up going there several times a week. For sunsets, you can’t beat the mood at Fins or a nightcap at Favela. “

“This summer, I hope [traveling to] French Polynesia to see my family for the first time since the pandemic in the United Arab Emirates. I have never been to French Polynesia, but the South Pacific is beautiful. I can’t wait to have this experience – love the ocean and can’t wait to do island hopping. I wish I could go to Nepal, but we are seeing the first real bad wave of coronavirus, which breaks my heart. “

âThis summer I will be traveling to Galicia in the north-west of Spain. This is where I grew up, and it’s my favorite place to spend the summer. I will be in the south of Galicia by the Atlantic Ocean – there are some of the most beautiful beaches I have visited in my life there. They have the whitest sand and are often surrounded by pine and eucalyptus forests, which makes the environment incredibly special. The weather is not as hot there as in the Mediterranean part of Spain, but because of that it attracts less tourists, which makes it even more special. I can’t wait to visit the Cies Islands, which are a natural park of three small islands just west of the coast, and the stunning beaches like La Lanzada, among others. The seafood there is amazing and my favorite type of wine, Albariño, is made in Galicia. I can’t wait to hang on to the “chiringuitos” while admiring the sunset over the sea. “

âI hope to spend some time at home in Martinique this summer. I do not have [been there] since last summer, and I miss my friends and family dearly. I plan to rent a house for a few weeks and invite friends to come visit me. I love sharing my culture with my friends all over the world, so I can’t wait to show them a bit of the Martinican lifestyle. It is mainly about simple pleasures and explorations. I would also like to visit Portugal, especially Lisbon. I love all trips that include beaches, great food, and beautiful architecture. “

âI am on an electric car road trip and I will continue this summer. I recently drove it all electric Audi E-Tron from Palm Springs to Joshua Tree, but want to go longer next time. From the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway in my home state of Virginia to the underrated Overseas Highway in the Florida Keys, I can’t wait to hit the road again for stress-free exploration in the United States. “

âI’m based in Australia, and international leisure travel is still limited in the southern hemisphere. So, since we can’t travel overseas, my family and I escape the cold of the east coast of Australia. Australia and heading to Perth in Western Australia We are staying in our dear friend’s beautiful studio in a quaint little suburb called Palmyra.
âKinga Csilla is built from my experiences and my travels around the world; I am always inspired by exploring the most unspoiled parts of this land. I really can’t wait to visit Perth to see friends we have never seen before. haven’t seen in months because of COVID. – one of the friends we are visiting is an artist we recently commissioned to direct the Desmond print for Kinga Csilla summer HS 21. However, I am very excited to be back on the road after our stay in sunny Palmyra. We hitch up a caravan and head south via Dunsborough to Margaret River, one of Australia’s main wine regions. I am delighted to visit his breweries, beaches and pretty shops. “

âDuring the pandemic, I was on a very bizarre shuttle bus between New York and northern Italy. I live and work in both, so I was able to travel between the two, but with restrictions. Italy without the Americans last summer was a little weird. And while I didn’t miss the crowds, it was hard to see many hotels and restaurants dependent on the tourist economy, especially American tourism, taking such a hit. Many didn’t even open last summer because they couldn’t afford it. It’s the base for me. I look forward to stress-free travel without having to carry a file full of papers proving my residency in Italy – a bit of a compromise with mostly empty flights. I miss France, I haven’t. I’ve been there for a while, and we’re pretty close to the Côte d’Azur in the north. Because my residence is only in Italy, even during the summer of last year, I was not able to go. I know how privileged this problem is so I can’t wait to travel to a small town along the French coast this summer, buy some really smelly cheese, and hang out with my partner and our friends. As a travel content creator, I have friends all over the world so as soon as the trip fully opens up I’m ready for a world tour of all the friends I missed. “
