If you suffer from midweek blues, a bowl full of pasta will surely drive away any bad feelings. A perfectly cooked pasta dish is silky, aromatic, and bursting with flavor. It’s the perfect cheat meal, and even Shruti Haasan agrees. The actor loves to cook for herself and her family. Today she took to her Instagram page to share a video of herself making pasta in the oven, and it’s the most delicious thing we’ve ever seen.
Shruti Haasan posted a video of herself making pasta in the oven with Ghost Pepper Oil on Instagram today. In caption, the star explained the process of preparing the dish, which she has been preparing for years. The best part is that her recipe has a dozen flavors in it because it’s made with garlic, mushrooms, rosemary, chicken, and ghost pepper oil.
Shruti captioned the video, “CHEAT DAY !!! I’ve been baking pasta for years and years and it’s so good the next day too. I use gluten free pasta – then fry some onions , garlic, rosemary and mushrooms in sweet paprika, cayenne pepper and salt – I prepare the chicken separately in the Italian seasoning and the paprika with chili flakes – I throw in the pasta sauce bottled when I’m lazy (like I was today) and finally add half a cup of white wine until the alcohol is completely cooked (especially because I’m sober), then the extra zing on the top is Bhut Jolokia oil, mix everything shred the chicken on top with the mozzarella put in the oven for ten minutes at 160 degrees !! I also like a gluten-free bread side.
According to Shruti’s post, to make the dish, she used gluten-free pasta. Start by frying the onions, garlic, rosemary and mushrooms in sweet paprika, cayenne pepper and salt. Then prepare the chicken separately in the Italian seasoning, chili flakes and paprika. Add half a cup of white wine to the chicken and cook until the alcohol evaporates completely.
To add some spice to the dish, Shruti added some Bhut Jolokia or Ghost Pepper oil on top and mixed everything together. Then, shred the chicken. Toss cooked pasta with chicken and garnish with mozzarella. After that, place the dish in the oven for 10 minutes at 160 degrees. If you want to eat the past like Shruti, you can have it with a side of gluten-free bread.
