Woodbridge vineyard known for its wine, appreciated for its “family” atmosphere
WOODBRIDGE – Guests say the wine at Savino Vineyards is favoloso, but equally delicious is the welcoming atmosphere that makes them feel like family.
It’s exactly what 83-year-old Gennaro “Jerry” Savino had hoped he would be when he realized his later life dream of making wine like his family did in Italy. He planted the vineyard in 2000 and opened the tasting room at Savino Vineyards, 128 Ford Road, in 2007. There’s also a patio with tables, chairs and a view.
